Hello! and welcome to my blog. Here I put updates on shows and I'll post new and older work I've created. I hope you will enjoy browsing through my blog.
For the past couple of years, I have been contnually working on a series of street scenes from around local neighborhoods and public venues. Here are some. Enjoy.
I did this piece for a friend of mine who was once stuck in a job position that she did'nt quite like and was quite unfit for. She was an aspiring dancer, stuck in a dead-end office job. I remember her telling me the way she felt and in response I did this piece for her. This was a few years ago, and she's now becoming a popular burlesque dancer and model here in Los Angeles. Good for her.
This is a dyptich of a man whom I saw wearing a statue of liberty outfit during tax time and Paris Hilton doing a raunchy commercial for Carl's Jr. Fast Food Restaurants, washing a Bentley car with a skimpy outfit and then chowing down on a $6 Burger.
I used this image on the cover of my latest zine. It's my homage to Benjamin Franklin's quote: "There are only two things that are certain: Death and Taxes"
